WeatherNet is a subsidiary of Cunningham Lindsey, the UK's largest loss adjusting & incident management company, and specialises in supplying on-line weather applications, data sets, reports, consultancy and advice. WeatherNet was established in 1995 to provide postcoded weather information to UK insurers to help them verify claims for storm, freeze and flood.

WeatherNet maintains its own exclusive network of manned and automatic weather stations located throughout the UK's major urban areas - where the weather affects most people, most of the time.

Although insurance remains a key business sector, WeatherNet has diversified, to offer bespoke services to industries such as construction, the utilities and the legal profession.
